The Triple Occurence

While the day has its own numeric significance, it certainly has not failed to put itself into effect. Not to say that the so called triple occurrence theory could at times prove fatal to the days objectives. But I assume that the winds still blow as expected.

As Britons are heading to polls, New Yorkers had a near fright for the first time since their worst nightmare came into existence four years ago. Regardless of its significance, the prominent state of high alert had been finally penetrated. So as the hunt begins from one side to find 'How', the tallying continues in the other side to find 'Who'. I dare not choose either of them, but I guess we'll have at least one out quite soon.

While the West is busy probing into the How's and Who's, the entire world got its own high-alert with the breakout of Sober-N which, even as we speak, slithers around networks across over 40 countries. It's ability to differentiate between languages (ENG n GER) and to auto disable antivirus protection (i.e. Norton) and firewalls (at least M$'s) has already shaped its way through the super-highway. As claimed by Sophos, Sober-N's reappearance with social engineering has given itself a place for one in every 22 emails in the current circulation. As impressive it could get from a developer's POV, the perilous it could be for a delighted NuB with a jammed inbox.

A brutal past has also led this day for Jews across the globe to observe Yom Hashoah marking the Holocaust Memorial Day for the 6 million Jewish deaths during WWII. Following it will be the opening of the Berlin Holocaust memorial situated between the Brandenburg Gate and the buried remains of Adolf Hitler's bunker. A memorial that honors the memory of Holocaust and exhibits a courageous symbol of modern Germany.

Space too had its own orbital story, as the The Cartosat and the Hamsat left their birthplace to join the trajectory of their kind. It is the proud and maiden effort of the Indians to aid mapmakers and Ham operators, who are clearly among those who actually do a realistic job at times in need like during the recent tsunami disaster.

So as events unfold and fold again while the day gives in to the night, this dejected theory is about to rest for the next 397 days when it will be ready to rise again. Well, may be daylight saving could make some minor changes at its own will.
