SOS Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is still in need of assistance. Many more people are waiting for their turn to receive aid. Will are efforts be enough? I'm not even certain of what enough means, but what I do know is thousands of innocent people who had no part to play in the seaquake is now in need of our help. We are the only ones they've got.
If you haven't, please consider donating either with funds or supplies to the National Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation Fund at SOS Sri Lanka. Paypal users could use Sarvodaya. They even maintain a Donors Log. Big or small, whatever your contribution may be, we thank you all for your generosity and concern.
For those who need information on relief needs, UN's NDMC maintains a Disaster Needs list containing all requests for relief items and humanitarian assistance at the hour. If you need information from government authorities, contact the President's Office for Disaster Relief.
Finally, for those who mailed me and who are searching for locals, try LAcNet's Find Them or Vanguard's Search for those deaceased, survivors found and still missing from the tsunami disaster.
