Conscripting Child Soldiers
Even with all the miseries that have been deposited in our children after the tsunami attack, they are yet again facing more live threatening problems that are beyond their strength or ability to defy.
Among the sick stories of how some humans treat the misfortunate, there's one in the form of conscripting children as soldiers. The Tamil Tigers have begun recruiting children affected by the tsunami to make up for the loss of their rebellion due to this disaster. Though, as usual, the reports are denied, UNICEF has verified of recruitments that have already been taken place.
There are three verified cases of child recruitment. We are currently advocating with the LTTE to get the children released. - Ted Chaiban, UNICEF
Many feared this, including the president, who soon decided to adopt one of these children. But what difference could it make when the administration itself is responsible for the outbreak of such a demoralizing situation. Each whip beyond the line would only make the line thicker. And sadly the ones who are hurt by it will not be a fret for the others.
The government and the Tigers have already been trading charges over the distribution of aid. Now it appears they have something more to go about. Everything seems to move in the direction of unraveling the three-year-old cease-fire. Something that none of the citizens or the victims would like to see at a time like this. However, if the current situation persists, the aggravation could not only cost many seats but thousands of innocent lives that no one's willing to give. The lives that were lost were to bring hope of peace, but what we are grinding upon will only bring more destruction and disgrace to those asleep.

the bad turning to worst. they have been duing this all along despite of local and international warnings. it's high time they put a stop to it. but that would only be possible if both sides are willing to cooperate else whoever shows more greed could choose to be the villain.
Desperation is even turning good to worse. Like nine women claiming to be the mother of an unidentified orphan in Kalmunai. What would become of all ten? (Guardian)
