LP's Music for Relief
In a time when everyone looks out for help, it's always a heart lifter to see more people reaching out. It's Linkin Park who has come forward in setting up an organization called Music for Relief on behalf of the music community in an effort to help victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.
We are fortunate to be in a position to help, but this needs to be a broader effort. If one of our fans can donate $10, then that's going to help ... We are also going to appeal to our musical peers by asking them to donate as well." - Brad Delson
Having toured South Asia over the summer, they are emotionally binded with the devastation caused to their fans in the reigion. The organization was set up with an initial donation of $100,000 by the band which will directly support American Red Cross programs. Many thanks LP for your generosity and concern. It's wonderful to see you being the first band to come forward, cause in the end it matters a lot.
